Stabilisers

The term ‘stabilisers’ in archery encompasses the different sorts of rods mounted on a bow to increase its stability. These come in various shapes and sizes, the most common being a long rod that sticks out from the front of the bow and a pair of shorter side rods that point backwards and outwards from the riser.
Stabilisers have a wide range of available accessories, with vibration dampeners to reduce shake, quick releases to make it quicker and easier to disassemble your stabiliser setup, extenders to move your bow’s centre of gravity forward and v-bars to hold them all together on your bow.
Most beginners start with just a long rod and built up their stabiliser system by adding a v-bar, side rods and accessories as they advance.
